My first visit to see some train-action of the New Year! Nothing special like steam. This morning, I had promised my Sister-in-Law a lift to the railway station, so nature takes its course and I spend the morning at the station photographing the rail action.

The Class 331 looks very smart and sleek. Very smooth ride and comfortable. The above is a Class 331/0 3-car unit, DMSL-PTS-DMS, of which, 31 sets were built by CAF in Spain (2017-2020).
...while the DVT, 82214 brings up the tail to the 91114 service to York.

DB Cargo UK locomotive 66051 'Maritime Intermodal Four' thunders up the G2 (Goods) track.
This loco did some interesting manoeuvres up and down the length of various Goods tracks to line-up with a couple of FAA wagons. The following photos show 66092's progress.

The below photo, again of 800202 was timed at 11:15hrs going northwards at platform 8! Are the two services operating with different units? It's impossible for 800202 to get to Kings Cross and back to Doncaster in 27 minutes?
