I was supposed to go to York to view Braunton, but I felt like a change of station and besides I wanted to see the steam loco at speed as it charged through Doncaster. And charge it did, as since it departed Kings Cross, it was continually 30-40 minutes down on sheduled time. Finally arriving at York, its destination, 38 minutes down at 13:07hrs.

Southeastern class 466016 waiting at the Works sidings for rectification.
A very satisfying couple of hours at Donny station and decent wheather too.
