15 JUNE 2019 - LANCASTER BOMBER APPROACH TO DONCASTER-ROBIN HOOD AIRPORT.
This plane from WW2 is the only flying example in the country. I'm thinking that it is on the way back to its home airport at RAF Coningsby and making a fuel stop at Donny. It flew over our garden at maybe 2,000 feet on its approach to the airport situated 4 miles south-west of us or was it? Maybe it was on its approach to Coningsby.
Cropped image of Lancaster - yes the propellers are turning - my photographic gissmo just too quick.
