15 JUNE 2019 - LANCASTER BOMBER APPROACH TO DONCASTER-ROBIN HOOD AIRPORT.

This plane from WW2 is the only flying example in the country.
Avro Lancaster PA474, operated by the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight as a tribute to all members of Bomber Command during the Second World War.
I'm thinking that it is on the way back to its home airport at RAF Coningsby and making a fuel stop at Donny. It flew over our garden at maybe 2,000 feet on its approach to the airport situated 4 miles south-west of us or was it? Maybe it was on its approach to Coningsby.
