09th JULY 2023-1Z39 'THE WAVELEY' (CARLISLE to YORK) with 60103 FLYING SCOTSMAN at YORK RAIL STATION.

 60103 Flying Scotsman was due to return to York from Carlisle at 21:18hrs at platform 11. It was a warm evening and so would make an ideal trip up to York to see the famed loco. This would be my second viewing of this famed loco this year during its centenary year. But it would be tight getting the train home and I would miss out on it being parked-up at the Holgate siding.

60103 Flying Scotsman at platform 11 before it moves to Holgate Siding, from steps to NRM. 

Due to the lateness of the hour and 'Scotsman' being 3 minutes late on arrival, I had to dash for my train back home at 21:34hrs. So, I missed the loco being run up the line to holgate siding.

15th July 2023: Watched steam loco 35018 'British India Line', pull into platform 11 at York Rail Station, on internet at www.railcam.uk.
